I got waitlisted for RD 
. Is there any way I can increase my chances for admission? I understand that if the yield rate is lower than predicted, schools will look at the waitlist to fill in spots.
Accepted! 1430 SAT, 3.66 UW GPA
Accepted! Financial aid was alright but still really expensive. 1550 SAT, 3.96 UW
BU gives ONLY 5 TE scholarships per year. I discouraged my children from even applying. If you contact the TE coordinator at schools, they will tell you such things. It’s a very difficult process
Is BU completely done with handing out scholarships? Will there be any more waves of grants or are a lot of us out of luck?
Does BU mail out physical acceptance letters?
@indecisive19 Yes they do send out acceptance packages.
@EdelweissOne I don’t know where you got the idea that applying for TE was a difficult process. The scholarships have low acceptance rates at the more desirable schools like BU, but the process of applying was stupidly easy for how big of a scholarship it is. All I had to do was send my name and a list of the TE schools I was applying to to the TE liaison at my parent’s home school by October 1 last year.
Does anyone know how to get a physical financial aid letter? I need it for scholarships!
@mathNerd1100 just print one out from your portal after you click onto your financial aid offer. Good luck on the scholarships! Our fingers are crossed for a break or 2 on some my kid has applied for.
Guys I just got an email saying that and I quote, “The Board of Admissions has reached a new decision on your application for admission to Boston University”… WHAT DOES THIS MEAN…

Okay, So I called the office… It’s really nothing.
As an international student, when I first got my acceptance decision. It was conditional based on my ability to pay. Therefore, after submitting my financial documents, they have now made my acceptance official.
The email really scared me though!
