I’ve been sprung, and the bars have been removed from my avatar and full functionality has been restored. But on the tablet version of CC, when I click on my avatar icon at the top of the page to go to my Profile page, my avatar is still behind bars on my Profile page. And the my avatar icon at the top of the page turns back to the version with bars over it. When I return the forum pages, my avatar changes back to the bar-less image.
This bug only occurs on the table version, not on the mobile or desktop versions.
May I ask why the bars were over it? I thought you did that on purpose for some reason?
It happens when you get in trouble (usually violate the terms of service). There are some things you can’t do when you are jailed – can’t start new threads, can’t post more often than every 150 seconds. You also apparently stop getting all notifications (so when someone mentions you in a thread or sends you a message, you don’t get it – although I am not sure if that is how it is supposed to work, I just know from personal experience that it is another effect of being jailed). 
@GMTplus7, this looks like a catching issue. I suggest clearing the cache on your tablet—this should fix the issue. If it doesn’t work, please send me a screenshot and I’ll forward it to the tech team. Also, let me know the OS and browser you use on the tablet. Thanks!
I didn’t do anything to clear my cache, but the problem just went away all by itself. Thx for the tip anyway.
LOL, that is really funny that you are “jailed” for infractions. I figured the avatar was by choice.
