Building Up Your "Book"

<p>Hi! I’m Ellie, and I’m kind of brand new to College Confidential…this is my first post! Yay! Anyways, I’ve been really building up my book for auditions, but I’m having trouble with some of the categories of song; specifically Country, Rock, Golden Age, and Comedic. I realize this is a wide question, but if anyone has any suggestions at all, let 'em fly! I’ll take any help I can get! (; And here’s a little background info on me: I’m 16, a short, brunette, and I’m a belter. I have a nice middle voice, but the high soprano, ingenue-type songs are not for me! Think: “Spark of Creation” or “The Life I Never Led.”</p>
