<p>What are my chances of getting admitted into the business school if I apply regular decision? Is there anything I can do to improve my app.?</p>

<p>NJ public school (ranked top 10 in state)</p>

<p>GPA: 4.02 weighted
Rank in top 8%</p>

<p>SAT I: 2040 (M 760, V 600, W 680)</p>

<p>SAT II: MATH IC 750, MATH IIC 800, CHINESE 800, BIOLOGY 630</p>

<p>AP: Comp. Science 5, Biology 4</p>

<p>I get mostly A’s and B’s in all honors and AP courses.</p>

<p>E.C.:
~Art club (officer), Computer Club (officer), Math Club, Teacher Assistant, National<br>
Honors Society, Spanish Honors Society. Not much in school.
~a lot of work experience at a hotel, bakery, pool and my Chinese school
~some volunteer work at library and pool</p>

<p>You apply to the Comm School your 2nd year. Your SAT is a little low for OOS. You need to boost it up by 100 or 200 points. Everything else looks all right. Try early decision instead. You would have a better chance.</p>

<p>it depends on how you do during your 1st year at UVA. 75% of applicants get into the Comm school, but the competition is very high. just work very hard and you will have a decent chance!</p>

<p>It’s not too hard to get into the Commerce School. As long as you try a little the only required things you have to worry about are a few easy prereqs</p>
