Has anyone had any experience with the Electro-Acoustic Composition workshop at BUTI Tanglewood? My son (high school sophomore) was accepted and we are trying to decide between it and Interlochen Music Production. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
Terminology varies but electroacoustic composition sounds different from music production to me. This is a broad brush but does your son lean toward creative/experimental composition or more toward technical/engineering studio work?

They are also quite different experiences accommodation wise etc. Also the BUTI workshops coincide with the opening of the Tanglewood season so a chance to see some great concerts and 4th July concerts etc which the workshops didnt get last year as they were a week earlier, Or a good excuse for parents to get there To watch too!

He LOVED it!!! Met amazing kids across all programs, loved his instructors and loved that they paired production students with singer songwriters-
He also enjoyed going to the various musical performances around campus
According to him it was a life changing experience
