C-Dad:

S is supposedly receiving an invite from Pres. Cowen to the above…any thoughts on its value?

I have no idea what that might be, but any personal invite from the Univ. President (other than, "pacj your bags, and call your parents) I would take as good thing. I tried to “goggle” the above, and came up empty. In any event, I would think it is a good thing, so Congrats to your son.

it appears to be nothing more than another info session in the Big Easy, but I could be wrong. S is a junior, and he’s on Whiteside’s mailing (aka marketing) list. I was just curious is this was a special program, or just broadcast to a cast of thousands who took the psat.
