@BrianP9999 you forgot to add the #. #1466 comes up for me
@MLM You can’t search a specific post #. The only reason why you are getting something is from you and the others that have entered “#1466” in your response. He has to search the word “communications” and look thru those.
@goldenlabrador - no, Cal Poly does not mail paper letters or acceptance packets. Everything is online through your portal and by email.
Portal still reads “No determination has been made at this time.” Any Political Science get notification yet?
Lots of Political Science notification here @sdsuparent20 including post # 684, #820, #940, #1170, #1233, #1391, #1624
@BrianP9999 my neighbor got in under communications last Thursday. This was a tough year - over enrollment last year, large class (y2k babies), 65,000 applications for 5400 spots.

Hopeful transfer here with a question! Did freshman have to fill out a supplemental application after applying?
@transferjess Nope!
@tanmc @superman124 @gabbyjohn1030 If you put your major in the search discussion on this page below and you can see the people who posted with your major.
@BrianP9999 One of my D’s friends got in for Communication Studies last Friday.
Supplemental applications are for Transfers only @transferjess
I just want to congratulate all those that are accepted! And commiserate with those that are waitlisted, as my daughter is. As I told her, Cal Poly is like a crapshoot. You can get in and not expect it, you can get waitlisted or denied even though your numbers are good. They are such a popular college that the application numbers are overwhelming. You need to just make peace with whatever happens, and know that you will go where you are supposed to. We can all see the light at the end of the decision tunnel - look forward, not back. Life will go on!
I hope that those waitlisted will come back to this thread and let us know if you got in or not and if not where you end up. Also, those that are finally rejected please report back too. This really helps students next year checking the boards to check patterns and see what their possibilities are. Hoping it is somewhere everyone is happy and proud about!
Can someone create a separate thread for waitlists so that we can keep that one area for them and questions and stuff?
