There is honestly no place i’d rather go to school its always been my #1 and im so stressed out about being on the waitlist.
Is Cal Poly going to do that thing again even for waitlist decisions where people who get accepted hear first and the rejects don’t hear back til another week??? So inconsiderate!

I would not worry about housing choices. All freshman get housing. I’ve read that around 50% are randomly assigned roommates because they didn’t identify any roommates in advance, while the other 50% may have selected a roommate in advance. However, in either case you can’t select your residence. You provide a preference on living groups but you won’t know which living groups will be housed in which dorms. So it does not seem like there is much disadvantage to being late in selecting housing.
Has anyone that’s on the waitlist heard back from journalism yet?
I just called as well. They said: nothing today, first wave in the middle of the month, second wave at the end of the month, maybe even beginning of June.
