Do you think we’ll have to wait until Thursday and Friday again for more decisions?
I am an architectural engineering major. Last name begins with W. I found out on 3/1. My friends are all over the map between computer science, civil engineering and animal science also found out on 3/1.
Someone on the transfer thread posted a rejection. Edit…Never mind…just someone being a jokester.
Curious, of those who’ve been admitted, who are attending? All all of you high stats people really hoping for a UC or elsewhere?
so if transfers are getting word, does that mean that freshman admits are done until they start getting some admits deciding to go elsewhere? I was thinking that maybe colleges were working through their lists from the top down (by stats) and that maybe there would be more admits this week, but if they’ve moved on to transfer students, maybe its time to admit defeat…?

False alarm @prdmam . It was just someone who thought they were being funny. But typically, Cal Poly releases by college, not by stats. If you have already seen your major listed here by others, it is not a good sign. But you never know, I am just going by the past 5 years of admission trends by Cal Poly.

@Goolia66 Thankyou for saying that! They jumped all over me when I try to tell them that. I hope to be wrong, and I wish them well, but that’s just how they do it.

I just got off the phone with Cal Poly admissions. I asked them if Freshman admission decisions were over. I was told there is still hope because they aren’t anywhere near being done with the decisions and will continue to roll them out. Woo hoo!
It could be that they only have waitilists and rejections left to send out, though, and they’re done with acceptances. Not to be a pessimist. I’m still waiting too, just trying not to get my hopes too high.
have any incoming freshmen heard back today or has it all been last thursday and friday?
@supremecactus - I specifically asked that. Her words were exactly that they were “no where near being done handing out acceptances.” She actually used the words that there was still hope.
