@Coopy1 cs1836 didn’t, however jury is still out on Gavidia
Does anyone know once waitlists come out how it works?
GPA: 4.27 CSU GPA
ACT: 34
Major: Biomedical Engineering
Accepted
@03miata: Once waitlisted applicants are notified, you can then opt into the waitlist. As accepted applicants decline their spots, then they will go down the waitlist (probably ranked but SLO will not give you an idea of where you stand). Waitlisted applicants can hear anytime after opting in until after the SIR date May 1 so expect at least after May 1. Once SLO knows how many spots are available/major, they will notify the waitlisted applicant. You can then accept or decline.
If you do not hear by May 1, you need to accept another school until you do hear from SLO one way or another.
@03miata thank you
I haven’t heard anything back, chem major, 4.33 CSU/UC GPA, 32 ACT.
Many of my classmates have heard back for mechanical engineering, biology and business.
Are we sure that more acceptances are on their way???
@sdnfjlj87909 whats your mca score? i think that’ll give you a better idea bc if yours is higher than other accepted chem majors then you can be assured you’ll get in and thus, that they’re not done with acceptances/
@calploydad I am a history applicant from California and I heard back on Friday, March 2nd. I was accepted with 3.46 gpa and 33 act
@llaauurenn what is an MCA score and how do I calculate it?!
@sdnfjlj87909: See post #52 on this link for the calculation. The MCA score is how SLO ranks applicants by major (similar to the Eligibility index for the rest of the Cal states)

Has anyone heard of people in pre vet animal science hearing back? I haven’t seen many people with that major accepted…
at what times did they hear back on thursday and friday?
On Thursday March 1st I got my acceptance email around 8:00 Mountain time if that helps anyone.
@gumbymom Thank you!
Got accepted as a mathematics major last Friday, 3/2.
Stats: 4.5 GPA, 33 ACT, 800 SAT Math II
so today I was looking at my daughter’s Cal State application and realized she didn’t put an entire year of math on there. It was pre-calc/trig. She has on there that she is currently enrolled in stats and her Cal State GPA is 4.1 but oh lordy… They don’t get transcripts right? so it looks like she just took Alg 2 and then enrolled in Stats? And no math junior year… there a way to fix this or is it too late?
anyone hear about economics?

I’m waiting on economics too @college107 @tanmc
