I have read in other groups that acceptances to Pomona came out weeks ago and then waitlist notifications came out 2 weeks ago. My son is also waiting for a decision and I am assuming that decisions come out in waves like slo and since he didn’t hear in the first 2 waves that he didn’t get in. I am thinking that the update on Sunday may be the decision finally.

Does slo usually release decisions on the 2nd Friday of March?

So wait. are people hearing back or no?

not yet for SLO, but UCD and UCI decisions came out today so there’s some discussion about those schools.

Question. Did any of your students receive a questionnaire just recently regarding their interest in the new year-round option? I am now wondering if their answers to that questionnaire may have been considered in their admission decision. Hmmm.

I got it but I think they only sent it out once all of the admissions decisions were pretty much finalized. Website for admissions criteria doesn’t list it as a factor. Not sure if it was randomized or sent to specific people for a reason.

I’m just wondering because they are trying to increase enrollment by offering this year-round schedule and I wasn’t aware of that, nor was my son. I’m wondering if they were trying to figure out who would grab the non-traditional offerings and who would not. It came the last day of February.

Did every applicant get it? Or just some applicants?

I think it might just be to get a picture of the enrollment numbers if they were to offer a summer term.

I know they didn’t email it to everyone because I was the only one out of my friends who got it. Not sure if it’s random but I’m really hoping it means I got in lol

It was sent by Strategic Enrollment Management, so I agree.
