If you haven’t heard anything then can we assume that it’s a waitlist or rejection?

I haven’t heard anything from my daughter one way or another. I don’t know if she received the email, if she just hasn’t checked the portal, or if she’s just not in a mood to check and let me know the decision. Ughhh

OOS son got admitted, but not to his first intended major. He applied for Psychology, but got accepted at Wine and Viticulture. Now, a real dilemma … :frowning:

SLO GPA cap is around of 4.27 if you take the minimum 5 a-g courses/year with the 8 semester Honors cap. As stated, HS rigor is considered along with SLO GPA.

The top end of the SLO GPA listed on the Freshman profile is 4.25.

Is the SLO GPA different from the Cal State GPA?

did your son have 5 years of english and/or 4 years of foreign language?

I holding hope but have seen other people get accepted for businesses admin so I’m getting anxious.

What a huge surprise! Super excited - her dad and her great grandfather are alumni!

One other thing to note that I don’t see mentioned much is that there are some courses that are not considered Honors or AP by colleges but may be considered in rigor. There are series of courses through Project Lead The Way. They have several series like Engineering and Bio Med. My D completed the 4 year bio med program which is as rigorous as college courses but just does not get weighted officially for any sort of honors. (although after doing all those courses, it taught her she did not want to do biology lol! Glad she learned that before college)

Yes. Regular CSU GPA is 10-11th a-g grades and the 8 semester Honors point cap.

We had to call the help line and reset her password, but daughter received the status update email and was accepted! OOS
