cSU GPa 4.19 fully weighted 4.55 at time of application. A-G 34 years of classes. 25 total AP/DE classes.
I think CP considers course rigor so having a ton of A-G classes that are AP/DE helps even though it lowers the CSU GPA. I wish they released their criteria like SJSU does and they way they used to with the MCA calculation before they went test blind.
CSU GPA is 9-11 whereas UC gpa is 10-11 so CSU gpa is lower than UC GPA.

3 years foreign language - 4 years English -one was honors and one was an AP. When we attended the tour - the admissions person said AP’s likely counted as extra towards the 5 but can’t say for sure as she wasn’t very firm in her answer.

Twins-both got in!! We are OOS, go to private prep school. No APs, standard classes are treated as honors (I think) , and honors classes are treated like AP (maybe)?
Kid 1: political science, 3.9 uw in highest rigor available, leadership in volunteer work, part time job 2 yrs at a senior home, leadership in MUN and mock trial. Accepted at LMU, Santa Clara, SDSU, still waiting on 5 more schools including UW and east coast schools.
Kid 2: animal science, 3.9 uw, medium rigor, honors in science classes, extensive hrs volunteering related to major, leadership roles in volunteering there work, competitive a capella. Accepted 7 out of 7 including UC Davis, UMass Amherst, UW Madison.
D20 rejected by SLO, accepted by SDSU, loves it so much she’s going to law school at U San Diego. Similar stats and classes to our second daughter,
D24 accepted by SLO today. Our back up plan was community college then transfer.

School has odd schedule with accelerated yearlong courses last each semester term, so you can double up on subjects by taking one “year” in the fall then the next level in the spring. There are 4 periods in the day, so up to 8 “years” per school year.

After reviewing the SLO GPA calc, I think we should hang up our hat on this one. Freshman year was not a good one for my son. Onto the other UCs who thankfully do not look at grade 9!
