Don’t be discouraged. I personally believe it’s not as simple as straight numbers; upward trend in grades is also considered. I had to keep telling S24 not to be overly confident because we know people who are literally #1 in their schools and didn’t get into SLO in the past few years.
Although UC doesn’t count 9th grade in GAP calculation, but the sheer fact that they ask for them shows to me someone is still looking at them.

I actually got in, I seriously can’t believe it! I got in for my alternate major (CM) and they didn’t send out the email until ~15 minutes after everybody else got their acceptances. Go Mustangs!!

My son was accepted for Anthro/Geo. We are in state. He had a 4.0 unweighted and 4.57 weighted GPA with 47 dual enrollment credits plus a part-time job.

Since FAFSA processing has been delayed, you can assume the FA packages will be delayed. Last year the FA packages came out about 5 days after the initial admit wave.

Awards can be viewed on the Money Matters tab on the My Cal Poly Portal . You will be able to view your financial aid and print your award letter.
