Yes. He picked Wine as alternative for both Cal Poly and UC Davis. UCD rejected outright, didn’t even consider alternative. Cal Poly accepted alternative major.

Last year were a few admits between the initial admit wave and the waitlist wave.

got my acceptance today at 11:54am! sociology major from wa state 
i also got into uc davis so idk where i’m gonna go, waiting for stanford

It was his first choice.
Historically about 7 days after the initial admit wave so it could be this Friday or maybe Monday however last year it was 10 days after the initial admit wave. Always a guessing game.
I did a forum resubmission as things on my transcript were wrong. They emailed me confirming my changes on feb 29. Do you think I will get my decision later?
It is possible since it may take time for them to review the changes.

That’s what I was wondering too. Still rolling out decisions or should we expect waitlist/rejection later at this point?
Here is the timeline for the last 2 years.
2022: Cal Poly SLO admit wave started on March 10, 2022 with a mixture of OOS and In-state applicants. Waitlist decisions posted March 18, 2022 along with a few acceptances. Admits for students requiring a portfolio review trickled out on March 24, 2022. Denials were posted on March 30, 2022.
2023: Admit wave with IS and OOS on Friday March 10,2023. A few admits reported March 17-24. Portfolio admits March 24 along with waitlist decisions posted after 6 pm. Denials posted on Thursday March 30. 2023.
