MechE OOS (Arkansas)- someone else from my school got accord to a different major, I have no notification yet. Is this any sign?
Hard to tell. Some say there’s another admit wave coming tomorrow, hard to know for sure. I think if tomorrow passes, chances narrow considerably.

Same here. My daughter got into UCI but I’m pessimistic about SLO.

There were several that posted acceptances today for that major that I saw. I think you can use the search feature. some wrote it as RPTM so try that too.
Congrats! My daughter graduated from Cal Poly SLO with architecture major and a CM minor, and ended up pursuing a career in CM that she loves so much. It’s an excellent department and lots of job opportunities when you graduate.

That was my draw to CM at Cal Poly, I heard there are great employment opportunities. Funny thing is that a couple months after I submitted my application I realized I’d be much happier with a CM degree over architecture (pay wise obviously!) so this result was a pleasant surprise. That is so great to hear, thank you!

My son didn’t receive any notice yet from the SLO yet. Does it mean he gets rejected? Others from his school got it from yesterday. Feeling sad!

Here is the timeline for the last 2 years. Rumor mill states that more Decisions will be posted today.
2022: Cal Poly SLO admit wave started on March 10, 2022 with a mixture of OOS and In-state applicants. Waitlist decisions posted March 18, 2022 along with a few acceptances. Admits for students requiring a portfolio review trickled out on March 24, 2022. Denials were posted on March 30, 2022.
2023: Admit wave with IS and OOS on Friday March 10,2023. A few admits reported March 17-24. Portfolio admits March 24 along with waitlist decisions posted after 6 pm. Denials posted on Thursday March 30. 2023.

Do you think they release acceptances by major? Or by high school? Is there any pattern?
No pattern that I am aware of and based on the numerous posts from several sites, pretty much all majors have had admits yesterday other than portfolio majors and possibly audition based majors.
