And the wait is over. Denied. Would have been nice to know this 16 days ago and waiting didn’t improve anything. But honestly it’s a blessing to be done with them.

Ditto but my with Poly ball cap on. Alumni spouse feeling sad as well. Shockingly kiddo is just fine. He moved on quite well.

Oh well….have one kid already there. Would have been nice to have another, but not heartbroken. Kid has had 2 weeks to come to terms and expected this news.

Would you consider appealing? Did your S24 enter middle school math and/or language other than English?

Perhaps? My wife went through his application before we submitted, but we know more now than we did a month ago regarding some of these things. It wouldn’t hurt to check again to make sure those bases are covered, thanks!
He did not, it wasn’t on his list. Now we know we should have casted a wider net, but we were a little naive going into this. Not taking things for granted necessarily, but not expecting the outcome to be this bad.
I’m curious how you found these numbers. Are they posted online somewhere? I’m wondering how many students are on the waitlist this time around.

Four local students received acceptances to Cal Poly SLO today, two were transfer students and two were First time Freshman including my DD and her partner! YAY! It’s such a tremendous relief, I’ve been lurking on these boards for weeks and had pretty much given up all hope.
