Greetings and good luck to all who applied! My question: where can I find information about average admitted GPA for majors like BRAE? (yeah, i applied BRAE :D) Also, my UC GPA (calculated same as SLO GPA?) is 4.09. hoping itās enough ahaha, just researching as much as I can. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you!
SLO only lists the admitted the GPA range for the College of Agriculture but not the Major.
3.89-4.23 (25th-75th percentile)
Cal Poly SLO calculates the GPA using 9-11th a-g course grades and gives up to 8 semester Honors points for UC Approved Honors (CA HSās only), AP,IB or DE CSU transferable classes taken 10-11th grades.
You can use the CSU GPA calculator and include 9-11th grades.
Do any of yāall know what the acceptance rate and/or GPA range is looking like for Nutrition? CP SLO looks at 9th grade and lowers my GPA a bit, so Iād like to know what the chances are. Thanks!
Never mind! Just took a look at past threads and found some info on CAFESās avg GPA and enrollment projections.

This feels like the dumbest question ever but the 3.89-4.23 figure is Cal Poly Calculated gpa right? (Went through and did it for me and I got 4.06, just worriedTM bc my unweighted is 3.86) Positivity, best luck for everyone! Letās all get in and go together!!!
The GPA listed is the SLO GPA (9-11th a-g course grades with the 8 semester Honors point cap).

My S25 college counselor told him to make sure his high school has sent 1st semester grades to all schools heās still waiting on but said for Cal Poly to manually enter them in the portal. Is there even a place to do this for 12th grade?
Cal Poly does not consider 12th grades in their admission decisions and I am not aware that these grades can entered into the Student portal but it has been awhile since I accessed the portal.
Anyone applied to Arts/Design school? Did anyone receive invitation to share the portfolio? My son has applied to Arts/Design school, but hasnāt heard from them yet. Their website says invitations will be sent middle of Jan.

Cal Poly SLO doesnāt assign email addresses to potential students. If admitted, they will receive log-in info around August. Cal Poly will communicate with potentials/newly admitted through the email address provided during the application process.

Wishing good luck to Cal Poly applicants! Last year the largest wave of acceptances came out on March 11, but some international applicants were accepted as early as January. Cal Poly is always the last of the CSUās and usually later than most of the UCās with its acceptances, so the wait can be agonizing.

someone on reddit claimed that he/she was accepted to SLO for BArch. Anyone else get a response? I was under the impression that decisions would be released in March? Does it occur in waves?
The individual that posted on Reddit was an International applicant and SLO has historically admitted some International applicants and US citizens living abroad earlier than the general applicants. Over the years, I have seen some International applicant decisions as early as December.
For 99% of the Freshman applicants, decisions will be posted in March.
Cal Poly Admissions Instagram post today- I read on CC Cal Poly 2028 that last year they did this post on the same day they announced the first wave of acceptances. It was also mentioned that the year before the same post was made a few days before the first wave. Hereās hoping this is one of those years they come out earlierā¦.

Do they typically send out batches at a particular time of day?
