Hey guys, I was admitted to Aerospace on March 8th. I decided to submit my SIR despite the fact that I haven’t made up my mind yet. This is because the UC’s didn’t release decisions until recently (I’m still waiting on UCSB actually) and as someone from Chicago it’s my best option to tour universities in the latter half of May after my spring semester ends, but I wasn’t going to go tour universities before I got in.
It’s a tough circumstance for me because my feel of campuses will be a big factor in what I end up choosing. I just hope the SIR wasn’t legally binding.
Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about being taken off the waitlist?
Nothing yet. I am a transfer, so I assume not after they clear the waitlist for freshman

I was waitlisted last year at Cal Poly as an engineering transfer, and didn’t hear back til July 14th.
Anyone hear anything yet regarding transfers?
No and the July 15 deadline approaching. I think it is another rejection for me.
