Mackinac Island is beautiful.

Anyone know the Presidents in order? I do: Washington Adams Jefferson madison monroe adams jackson van buren harrison tyler polk and taylor fillmore pierce buchanun lincoln johnson grant hayes garfield arthur cleveland harrison etc etc.

I love Lake Michigan!

A girl in one of my classes loves Mackinac Island. She said she would live there if she could. She said that people travel by carriage on the island…there really aren’t any cars.

Crystal Mountain!!!1

I’ve never been to Mackinac Island or Crystal Mountain.

Good luck with your assignments olive tree a.k.a buddy. :D

Come visit Mt. Trashmore…it is 60 feet high. It used to be a landfill but was turned into a park. All the trash was covered with dirt and every so often the mountain leaks…lol.

It is the highest point in our area…which is sad in a way…

Where is that?

Yeah IDK where that is either?

In Virginia Beach, VA. I am not kidding when I say it is the highest point in the city…

A friend of mine said that our city got joked on some radio show…the host wondered why anyone would build a “mountain” out of trash.

It doesn’t smell, right?

Mt. Rogers is the highest mountain in Virginia, which is also the second highest mountain on the Appalachian Trail. I do declare it is near 5,500 ft in elevation.

Anyone ever go backpacking or hiking on the ol’ Appalachian Trail?

It doesn’t smell…still it leaked fluids a few years back. Back then I was wondering why the “mountain” would be leaking anything and that was when I found out the park was built out of garbage. To think I spent the days of my youth playing on a garbage mound…

You would never know the place used to be a landfill by looking at it.

Instead of using Mt Trashmore for a park, they could have used the high concentration of methane gas to heat homes during the winter.
