I am doing a project in school that is supposed to attract high school seniors to be interested in engineering. My topic is a modern technology that allows the reading of minds, and moving things without actually touching them. This can be somewhat related to telepathy, though it is not for normal people. It is actually meant for paralyzed people from the spinal cord down, or immobile as you can say. I am trying to start off with something interesting and familiar to my intended audience. I was going to say something about Stephen King, or one of those authors who write science fiction, but I’m not sure what kind of educational material high school seniors are interested in. Please let me know what would get your attention. Harry Potter?? Or any other science fictional items that allows reading of minds?

I am required to do a poster, so what kind of pictures would you like to see?

Here is a formal definition I have created. What kind of questions arise just from reading this?

Braingate is a type of brain-computer interface developed under neuro-prosthetics and electrical engineering and is implanted on the surface of the skull to help immobile patients control electronic devices by using a decoder that translates brain cell language into movements.
