<p>I’ll join again! Regionals are being held near us and I entered the lottery for tix since DS would be home on spring break for it, but we didn’t get chosen. Darn. Would have been fun. My neighbor enters the lottery for final four tix every year and gets selected more often than not. And yes, D3 schools have their own tournament - DS’s school is headed there after winning their conference!</p>

oooooooooh…harsh. Especially since S2’s school is perched at #10 with one more game to go. I love March Madness!!! S2 basically chose his school based on basketball and lacrosse, but they’ve imploded in the 2nd half of the season, so we’ll be backing the old alma mater this year (top 10 team!).</p>
<p>Is there a bracket yet for the DIII schools? Now I’m curious whether ds’s school’s team made it.</p>
<p>I have a San Diego State AZTEC and a UCLA Bruin so I am rooting for both teams. UCLA has really come together the last month or so. The Aztecs have never won a NCAA tournament game so it would be fun to watch them go far. Watched the highlights of last night’s BYU game and although Jimmer got 33 points they lost by like 20. They are really going to miss their big man. Their starting 5 is very strong, but they do not have a deep bench.</p>
<p>I’ll re-up. It’s been a while for me… but you should all be happy that I’m playin’… I’m one of those who picks for totally sentimental reasons, thereby increasing everyone else’s chances of doing well. I have the lousy track record to prove it!</p>
<p>Have to add San Diego State Aztecs to my always growing “sentimental picks” list, as we now spend most of the year in that neck of the woods. Their chances do not look good, after losing twice to BYU… but so what, I don’t pick based on “chances” anyway. If I’ve lived there, loved there, S has gone to school there or lived there, H has gone to school or lived there, niece/nephew has gone there, somebody I knew in hs once went there… you get the idea.</p>
<p>Will George Mason be this year’s tourney suprise? Too bad BYU lost their big man, they are really thin down low. Notre Dame could have a good run. I still like Duke, when all is said and done.</p>

<p>I’m rooting for George Mason - biased since my son goes there. Do you know that they’re saying that George Mason is this year’s George Mason (a team that you don’t expect to go as far as they have!!) Mason was ranked #25 this week in the ESPN poll.</p>

UMD is so out of it this year…nothing short of winning the ACC will get them in.</p>
