yup…so, they’re starting with our class after all…New MEAP with ACT, Writing, and “supplementary” tests…

yup…so, they’re starting with our class after all…New MEAP with ACT, Writing, and “supplementary” tests…

How’re ya all feeling about this new change?

This is really sweet. One free ACT through this AND they give you a voucher for another free ACT. Plus, if you get above average, then the state of Michigan also gives you a $4000 scholarship. Our ACT is scheduled for March 13th and the rest of the exam is scheduled for March 14

ooh! i didn’t know they were giving us a voucher for a free ACT! So this ACT as MEAP actually will count as a normal ACT?

Yeah, we can submit scores from this one to colleges too.

The MEAP is dead. You just take the ACT

After you get the voucher, PM me if you want to trade it for another real ACT.

Thanks.

PS: Be sure to scan it, though, into a PDF format

Yah, me too!

No way. $43 for a practice act test is not worth it at all.

I never knew we got a free voucher. I like the new ACT, but they added the MME too, that sucks :(

Can you guys explain this concept to me? I graduated in 06 so the MEAPs were voluntary and I got the 2500 dollars.

And MSUdad, it’s nice to see a fellow Spartan on the board (as long as it’s not Miami State or something).

Anyone else think that this test was hard? And are we eligible to get "early scores’ on this?

i think it was unnecessarily hard.

my school is doing it wierd…today was the ACT, and nobody but the juniors had school.
tomorrow is a half day for everybody but the juniors, and so in the morning we come in before everybody else and do 1/2 of the rest of the MME. we do the second half on thursday.

^ ours is kinda the same…except no one has school today and tommorow except for juniors…and we have a full day of testing tommorow…jeez…

yea that was super freakin annoying. plus i dont think i did well on the act at all. well at least i hoep i can get the scholarship. :)

the social studies was so random!! i hated it…a lot…and i died a little inside…

What a pathetic test. I have never taken an easier test in my life. Reading/Math and even Science/Social studies were a joke. It is not that hard to follow directions to put fries in the deep frier at mcdonalds.

lol a customer gives u a 20 for something that costs 7.50. How much change (you can EVEN use your calculator)!

My take:
ACT - annoying; started off day badly; didn’t eat before; didnt get much sleep; didnt prepare; unsurpsiingly, prob did worse than i did in december but did well enough to qualigfy for scholarship

WorkKeys: Reading - a Joke (the legal documents were a bit tricky but didnt take long to understand)
Math - also a joke (though there were one or two problems that had me stumped. one im so annoyed b/c i just didnt convert correctly (didnt look at chart))

MME: Math - much harder; way too drastic a shift of gears; i think i did ok tho
Science - didnt expect it to be testing actual facts but overall was not that bad (some stuff i had no clue tho)
SS - eezy shmeezy; even the stuff from courses i didnt take; and the essays were a joke (especailly after taking the AP for USH)’ wut is up with their obsession with “core democratic values”?

I think i got the scholarship…I hope

btw. did anyone here take the test at u of m dearborn?
