Did anyone’s portal banner disappear?

Does anyone know Caltech’s REA deferral rate?
@Alphaaaaaa I’m not certain of the rate, but I attended Caltech Up Close and one of the AOs there told me that “very few” students get deferred, I would guess the number is around 20 students total, maybe 1-2 get accepted but it may depend on other stuff. To my knowledge Caltech doesn’t really set a hard “quota” of how many students should be admitted total from any given round, and given the really low number of deferred students I’d imagine that the rate fluctuates a ton year to year.

Any idea when Caltech RD is going to be realised?

Not sure, in theory it should be the second saturday of March which should me this Saturday (March 8th). However, I Caltech’s admissioms office haven’t posted anything related to the time puzzle. They usually do it a few days before decision release.
The portal banner changed to Awaiting decision. RD should be released this Saturday, 3/8. No riddle email yet.
Decisions come out at 10:37 AM Saturday March 8
