Can I be accepted to these schools for Math major?

TOEFL: 80 (R21 L15 S20 W24) (will take again)
SAT:1880 (R470 W630 M780)
AP: 4 classes (Math, Bio, Chem, Phy)
SAT II: Math L2: 800, Chemistry:690, Physics:700
GPA: 4.14/4.33

I want to apply to Math major in:
Purdue University (require TOEFL 88, deferred)
Ohio State University (require TOEFL 79)
University of Washington (require TOEFL 79)
Georgia Institute of Technology (optional)
New York University (require TOEFL unknown)
Carnegie Mellon University (require TOEFL 102)

GIT and NYU are reaches due to very bad reading sat score. Also, many NYU int kids who have TOEFL are well over 100.

CMC-high reach due to SAT and your TOEFL is below average

We’ll assume that you’re full pay…

TOEFL score is a cutoff.
Purdue University (require TOEFL 88, deferred)=> no surprise
Ohio State University (require TOEFL 79) => match
University of Washington (require TOEFL 79) => reach
Georgia Institute of Technology (optional) => out of reach
New York University (require TOEFL unknown) => out of reach
Carnegie Mellon University (require TOEFL 102) => out of reach

Alternates where you have better chances of admission and where your TOEFL score means your application will be read - check those out!
RIT
Virginia Tech
Stevens Institute of Technology (TOEFL 83 but CR is okay and W is good for them but I think it’ll fly)
U-Wisconsin Eau Claire (writing and SAT2 scores would likely qualify you for honors program, which is quite good)
U Wisconsin Superior - safety, scholarships available
American University
Marquette
Umass Lowell
NJIT
University of the Pacific
Bryant
Clarkson
Colorado School of Mines
New Mexico School of Mines
Creighton
Elon
Illinois institute of technology
Florida institute of technology
Marist
SUNY Buffalo
WPI

How many TOEFL points do Georgia Tech and New York require? MYO S1634

NYU doesn’t have a set requirement for TOEFL score, but it states that many qualified ones are over 100. So. shoot for at least 100.

If you can’t take or don’t want to retake-which is no wonder, it’s so pricey-or SAT for better reading, forget about NYU,CMU and GIT
