Can I change my major after being admitted to college?

<p>I am an international student,I am going to complete my undergradute studies in canada. so my question is,Can I change from a science major to a non science major in canadian universities? Or can I only change major within only science faculty? Please help !</p>

<p>That being said, many students can and do change their major once in college. I have never heard of someone not being able to. </p>

<p>From what I have gathered in my research on Canadian higher ed, you can switch majors but it is more difficult to do so. In some cases you may even have to reapply to the university. In others, it is a more informal process of convincing the faculty of your new major to admit you.</p>

<p>I posted on the other thread where you posted, and I agree with DreamSchlDropout. You should be contacting the school you will be attending. As a teacher, I always advise students to ‘go to the source’ to get an answer with a name attached to it from the institution so that you have something ‘official’ to back you up.
