Can I get accepted into UCF?

Hey guys. I wanted to know what my chances are of getting into UCF with these stats. I also applied for Fall Term. My test scores are trash. I’m not the best at test taking… lol.

I have 100+ community service hours as well.

I feel like it’s not a lot, but I believe I do have a good chance aside from my garbage test scores.

You have a wide variety of EC’s which are great
Your GPA is great!!!. But i will have to say that your test scores are not up to par , compared to your gpa. Dont panic though. If you can get 3 points higher on ur ACT , i think your good. Your gpa though is above acceptance average gpa plus you have 2 duals in there which is awesome. I would also try to look at all the core academic classes you have taken and try to calculate ur gpa from that as well to get a rough estimate. Please remember that passing your AP tests are not even a thought in admissions, they dont care if you can skip classes, that just loses money for them.

Also what is ur major?

Hope you get in.

Thanks!! This really boosted up my confidence. Well I was planning to take the ACT again in February to boost up my score for scholarship consideration and bright futures. It won’t really be on time, but I am taking the SAT again this Saturday. I chose Computer Science as my major. I’m not exactly sure how that will affect my chances of getting accepted though.

Your welcome, @Ninjabread777‌ , I was in the same position as you 2 years ago (class of 2013). Things didnt work in my favor. Great major, it is tough though. I do not feel that the major you pick affects ur admissions because i was Elec.engineering, and my grades were really favoring that. Good luck this saturday on the SAT. Just by looking at your grades, i think you will get in , it might take some time. If your 1semester grades are good, i would send them ASAP.

Out of the 3 general things they look for : 0 meaning average
GPA +
Test Scores 0
Ec’s +

@ahamdanilbhs Well I did get a 1610 (1630 superscored). I suppose it’s sufficient for UCF. However, I sent UCF my scores on the 20th when my SAT score came out and they still haven’t received them. UF received my scores the same day they came out so i don’t understand why UCF hasn’t. It’s been three weeks…
