I have lived in the US for more than 2 years, is it likely that I can get an 80 on TOEFL without any prep?

At the very least, you just need to understand the structure and the scoring system of the test.

You can get 80+ (we are talking about the internet based right?) with an ease if you leaved in the US for 2 years because the English tested isn’t that hard.

I got 88 with 2 weeks of preparation. Sure you can get 80+.

I got a 114 without prep and I haven’t lived in an English-speaking country since I was 8. If you’ve lived in the US for 2 years you should totally be able to get an 80 at least.

I’d still recommend prep, especially if you’re unsure of how you’d do on the test. That helps you find your strengths and weaknesses.

You should also try to aim for a little more than 80. I know a lot of schools expect at least a 100.
