<p>Obviously not ivies or other great ones but what do you guys think? Am I doomed to a mediocre college or staying at my home country? Im definetely gonna try to apply to some good/decent colleges such as university of florida/university of central florida and others.</p>

One of my friends got into Nova in Ft.Lauderdale, and his stats were kind of like yours (except that his GPA was higher like 3.2 and SAT scores were lower). It’s not a great school, but it’s decent and has good business programs according to him.

<p>A lot depends on the reasons for that GPA. Is this GPA the result of a professional evaluation of your transcript or did you calculate it yourself? Do you have some very good grades, and some very bad ones? Are all of your grades around 2.8 no matter what class you took them in? </p>
