can I go to college at 17????

@philbegas most states will not allow students under 18 to take the GED. It’s a lot of work to submit homeschool documentation. Some schools require multiple subject area tests to show the student has mastered the subjects and detailed documentation (names of text books used, a portfollio os student work…). Perhaps the school that the student wants to attend is one of these and the parents knows the student hasn’t completed the required homeschool requirements for that school since this isn’t their first rodeo. But yes, in homeschool parents set the graduation requirements and hold all the cards.

@Moonlightsun The best plan would probably be not to make a fuss with your parents. Graduate a year early and go to the school they want for two years and then transfer with the help of your school and family that is willing to be supportive. The time with go by quickly.

Gearmom sounds like the plan for right now
