I am taking APCS right now, and having just seen the review book and talking to former APCS students, my APCS teacher barely preps the students for the AP Exam. I’ve been told that the average score was a 2, and the average final exam grade (for the course) was a D+ (his own tests are super easy btw, but obviously, that won’t help when it comes to the AP test and the district-written final exam.). This class, which is a semester long and started in beginning of Februrary, covered less than 1/3 of what’s on the AP Exam up to now, according to my review book. Is it possible to self study the rest by May?

Um yeah, if you think you could do it, sure why not?

How hard is APCS? When someone self-studies, do they prepare using the AP prep books?

AP CS is one of the easiest APs but to a lot of people, self studying is hard.
