<p>So I would like to apply for the French Honor Society, but technically I’m not qualified. To be a member, you need to be in at least French 5 and have gotten an A for at least 2 of the last 3 semesters. I am in IB French 5 but only got one A (last semester-second semester Honors French 4). To apply, you also need to write an essay on why you want to join. If I apply, unqualified, will they automatically throw out my application? What if my essay is really good? The teacher in charge was my French teacher last year. I was a good student but not the best one. I really didn’t like her and she didn’t LOVE me but she liked me. So what do you think? Should I apply?</p>
