<p>well, that’s pretty much the question. As far as I know, only residents of the state the college is located in may go. Is that true?</p>

<p>We have internationals at our community college, as well as students from other states. I live in Florida. There are both internationals here at our cc’s as athlete scholars and as regular students. Our cc even has an honors program. The college guide has a section on internationals, and even discusses internationals transferring with college credit. You would simply pay nonresident tuition. Our cc will soon be offering baccalaureate degrees in areas of high need in our state, including nursing and teaching, and the state has given them permission to drop the word “community” from its name.</p>
<p>All states that I am aware of allow international students to attend a community college - you would have to pay significantly higher tuition fees though.</p>
