A teacher told students that if they wouldn’t cooperate to “get the hell out.” Can she be fired for this?

Don’t think so. My teachers do it all the time.

No. Let it go. Move on.

Lol no what schools did you go to that made u think like this?

Hovering helicopter parents will only make a mountain out of a molehill. Kids say much worse things to teachers and especially each other. Give the teacher a break.

Not at all. Students should be expelled for not cooperating.

Just curious…WHAT was the teacher asking you to cooperate with?
If it was something appropriate, then she’s perfectly within her rights to say that.

It wasn’t me, it was other students in the class. They were whispering in Zoology, and my teacher asked them “be quiet.” Then, she extended this request to the whole class (the only students who were talking were the ones originally reprimanded). “That goes for all of you. If you’re not going to cooperate, get the hell out.”

One of the creepy hovering parents of CC would probably freak out and call in the Army.

Otherwise, it’s not a big deal. However, I would take it as an invitation to one day tell her to get the hell out if she doesn’t like my x-assignment.

Wow, so she wasn’t really talking to you directly. Let it go, srsly.

Well, now with all these union agreements, teachers can’t even be fired for sex crimes, so they probably can’t be fired for this. >_<

Lol, if that were to happen then all the teachers in my school would have been fired. Last time I checked ( which was yesterday) my A.P Lit teacher just called this girl a B****

LOL this is funny

No, but if they put you in an closet, and your dad whines enough, then your coach can be fired

haha. My teacher told a student that he was “full of sh**” when this guy was being really uncooperative.

This is life. And no, you can’t fire your bosses either (in case you were wondering :P).

I think this is completely reasonable.

Why would anyone think that she should be fired for this? Very reasonably request - if you aren’t here to study, you can leave.

no, a teacher would not be fired lmao
