Can you assess what my IELTS score would be around based on my past SAT score?

I will be taking the IELTS test soon and I just wanted to know how I would fare in the test. I need at least a 7.5 in each category. I have taken the old SAT before and I have scored 720W and 650R so I think that would be a good hint of my verbal capabilities. I’m sorry if I posted in the wrong forum and please guide me to the right forum if this is not appropriate I just couldn’t find any other place that would tell me how easy/hard IELTS would be based on my past SAT score and thank you in advance

If you’d like to do a bit of legwork, you can use the forum search function (or google) to search for posts that have both SAT and IELTS scores. I would start in the “What Are My Chances?” subforum.

The IELTS should be a piece of cake if you’ve attended a school where the primary medium of instruction is english. If you’ve received around A or B grades in english most of the time, and are fairly fluent in speaking, you should receive a 7.

Depends on school, but you do’t need to take IELTS if your school’s primary language is English
