Can you take biology and chemistry at the same time in high school?

It depends upon the rules of your HS. Some knowledge of biology is helpful before chemistry, but not necessary. However, if the HS requires Bio first, then the question is moot.

My younger brother is currently taking them both as a 10th grader, but that’s his school policy. You’ll have to find out what the rules are at your school.

Depends on the school, but in my school, you must take Bio Reg or HN before Chem Reg or HN. After taking a year of reg. or HN Bio and Chem, however, you’re allowed to take AP Bio and AP Chem together as you can not take an AP Science in 9th or 10th grade.

Have a good day!

Yes, but sometimes you might need to find a loophole in the requirements. However, I would strongly advise against this if BIo is AP and this is your first Chemistry class.

It depends on your school. I took honors biology as my only science class freshman year, and then sophomore year I took honors chemistry and AP biology so it is possible yes.
