Is canadian Mennonite University a good university?
I saw that it is ranked 3 in Manitoba, but how is this university well known in Canada? Is it hard to find a job after getting a degree from this University?

Never heard of it, and I’ve been in academics in Canada for 20+ years.

There are only 4 universities in Manitoba and the University of Manitoba is the lowest ranked research university in Canada.

I have lived in Canada for the past 44 years and this is the first time I’ve heard of this school. So, not only is it not well-known, I’d be willing to bet that most Canadians have never heard of it either.

A very small privately funded university. Former Bible College. Huge focus on preparing grads to work in Mennonite or Mennonite Bretheren churches. Just over 1000 students. Expect students to abide by a code of conduct which may not be everyone’s cup of tea: No alcohol, drugs, smoking. Sexual relationships reserved for marriage.
On the other hand $13,000 a year for tuition, room and board (all in!) makes it worth a look.

There are several actual, reputable universities in Canada with similar fees. I would not recommend that anyone attend one of these small, religious institutions in western Canada, unless, as noted above, you are interested in working in a Mennonite church.

Can you recomend me some reputable universities in Canada with similar fees to canadian Mennonite University ( $13,000 )?

Are you an international student? If so, then you will likely have to pay more than that. If you’re Canadian, then obviously there are several, whose fees can easily be found via Google, that are less expensive. Don’t waste your money on a school like Mennonite University.

Private universities in Canada are generally best avoided. Same with religious. It’s not like the US where you have phenomenal universities (Georgetown, Notre Dame) that also just happen to be private and religious. Expect the religious element to be stressed. (No sex, drinking, smoking, partying, potential homophobia.) See Trinity Western for example of why Canadian religious schools suck.

Also, never heard of it. Questionable reputation.

Unless your really interested in a career with the Mennomite church, I have no idea why you would ever consider it. Ever.
