it says i cant attach images to replies but when i log in on my phone, it shows my regular decision application in a small window and under it theres a hyperlink that says âStart a new applicationâ
probably not rejected for now(hoping not rejected anyways) unless there is a formal letter or statement, id just say this is a feature of using the portal on a phone, its diff on laptop as thereâs no option to start a new application
I think it just means your decision is coming.

Is it possible that the rollout is by state? Even so, since the first batch is heavily dominated by acceptance, odds are not looking good for us who havenât got a decision yet. Itâs ok if you release rejections and waitlists first and let acceptances wait. But releasing acceptances first and let the rest to wait for a rejection is just sadistic. CMUâd better sprinkle some acceptances in the later rounds!

The only discernible pattern I and a few others have seen is that so far there are no waitlists at all. There have been a lot of accepts but also in other communities, such as the ZeeMee chat, there has been quite a few rejects as well, at almost the same rate. Itâs also possible that not many have posted rejects, as others have pointed out. My guess is that bc there has been no waitlists, they may be doing yield control or only have released people who have been definite yesâs or noâs or something along that line. I could be wrong as well, though,
In any case, the whole ordeal is quite cruel and they might have to answer some questions down the line
Itâs impossible to do rolling yield control until Ivies + other top level colleges respond. Very few admitted students will secure the place at this stage. Rolling decision release does not substitute the waitlist.
