Nope, I didn’t ask though. I doubt there is a pattern as this is not scheduled or planned. Just bug fixes at this point as the initial load failed.

I also asked about able to register for the Turn Tartan Days event. They mentioned that if someone is not admitted then they will get an email about cancellation.

That’s what I was told. They load after phones stop ringing which is 5 PM.

Exactly. The load failed, hence this uncertainty as there is no pattern. Very surprising that one of the top CS schools can’t get this right.

Thank you for sharing this information. I know how many families are on edge awaiting news and feeling as though they’ve been left in the dark. And we humans do have a knack for using our imaginations to conjure up all sorts of scenarios to fill in the gaps of our knowledge. It’s nice to have this context to make the waiting a bit easier. why they can’t simply make an announcement to ease everyone’s nerves? Why we need to call to find out the issue and why always like someone heard from someone and how to prove this is real? Why create this mess and make everyone guess? This is not right!

In the very first email they sent last week, they already said that the results will begin on 3/15 and days after, but now is a system issue so that they need to send the result by days?

My guess is that the system issue arose when they were working with the files prior to the actual release date and that prompted them to announce that the release would be spread over multiple days. Your point about why they didn’t disclose the reason behind their decision is well taken. It seems as though they didn’t stop to think about the anxiety and frustration that this would cause for the applicants and their families.
