From last year’s thread it looks like most people lost access before decisions were released. Not sure if this means it is coming soon or not.
Not able to either… Last year smth similar happened with decisions. Probably coming out within the next 96 hours (speculation only)
I think so too. I saw a college consultant on tik tok that said this Friday may be very likely for CMU. Apparently they came out Friday of this week in March last year.
Will it all release this Friday or just some and the rest is released next week?
no one said anything, hopefully they know to avoid the mistake of freaking everyone out last year…
Expecting within the next 48 hours… Based on previous years’ threads, decisions start rolling out from this Friday, throughout the next week. WL first, then admits, then audition based, finally rejections. There was some overlap between these. As of C/O 2028 thread, there is no relation between school/major and decision date, its not like scs came before mcas, tsob, etc.
Hope this helps! LMK your thoughts.
These are based on A2C, Reddit, and CC threads for CO 2025-2028
At what time of day did they come out last year? Like if it’s this friday what time should I expect it to come out?
ed was 5pm est but idk
Does this mean if you don’t hear anything nearing April, you can expect that you have been rejected?
I’d advise against assuming anything until you have a definitive yes/no in your portal. Acceptances came out throughout, it was not acceptances ==>WL==>reject, they were mixed.
So does that mean we do not want to hear tomorrow because it will be waitlists, next week admits, etc? Or you mean the time of day of the releases?
no instagram post yet, probably not this week
cmu here to let us down again
Have they released before without an insta post? I wonder if they will surprise us with a release with no heads up.
Based on last year’s date and the timing of the email, I would guess it will be tomorrow.
I didn’t find any correlation upon further study. Looking at the times each message was sent, there wasn’t any particular correlation. I believe there were more WL posts at the start because admits may just be celebrating before posting. Within the first hour last year, there was a pretty representative proportion of admits, rejects, and WLs. It’s not that all WL then all accept or something, they all come out over a few hours, and up to a week for some majors. That being said, most colleges that receive 100k+ applications release in small waves, sometimes up to 30 minutes after the “decision time.” Check the UDub 2028 thread for an examples.
no more withdraw app, should be coming soon!
Did you have the withdraw button before? I checked yesterday and couldn’t find it but not sure if it ever existed before.
there was never withdraw, i remember my friend having to email admissions office to do that
ok i guess it isnt coming soon
