for ED this year they confirmed to someone via live chat decisions are dropping the day of in the morning, just gotta be patient I guess

Interesting… They might just not want to give out a definitive date. Today was the expectation as the 15th was the start of releases last year. Many colleges have moved 1 day earlier this year, so let’s see. Maybe they have last minute decisions, website issues, etc. We will never know. Also, we are already in Mid-March. Either way, looks like my LiveChat response was not right.

Some special major decision will be out on March 15, with the rest decision will be out some time after March 15. Just give AO some time to handle it, the waiting should not be too long.

My son is going to major statistics. I don’t know what school

just for future reference can you guys state:

  1. what time the decision came out
  2. what school / major
  3. what outcome

would help me better triangulate my rejection!

Does anyone know if CMU waitlists a lot students and what percentage typically gets off the waitlist?

from last year
around 55% of non-accepted students are waitlisted, basically no one gets accepted
