@night123 I wrote mine in a list form, but made it look as professional as I could. I organized them by different categories (Hobbies, work experience, school ec’s, etc). For each activity I am involved in I went into a bit of detail, including what I do in each of them, leadership positions, and how long I have been in the club/job/activity.
I am so nervous cause I forgot to teller to send me her letter of rec and I wont see her till after spring break. I hope she see checks her email tomorrow since it is professional development day for her.
@ak2018 Thanks for your helpful remarks. Is there a process for, and is there any value to, updating an application for positive events in an applicant’s curricular or extracurricular life which occur after the application is turned in?

Thank you @rlee01 and @ak2018 , but forgive me for being confused because I got a confirmation email that my recommendation letter was received, but I haven’t uploaded it through the supplementary materials portal yet. I’ve already asked my teacher for the document for the letter, so I can resubmit it if necessary. I know these questions are largely pedantic, but I was also curious as how resubmitting materials would work? Would it override the previous one if you did it through the portal?
@violetzerwit I’m not the most experienced in this stuff, but I’m pretty sure that you’re not supposed to see or come into contact with the recommendation letter. At least what happened for me was my teacher sent the recommendation letter directly to CMU via email, which is probably what happened for you too (and also probably why you got that email).
