Wait we need to upload a separate test score report, in addition to the self-report section of the initial application?
When I called, the lady asked me if I did upload them or not, so I think I should. I went back on the application portal then and uploaded the score reports with my updated transcript.
I’m pretty sure you could self report it on the application itself(not the portal) since it states that in the description and it was discussed in previous posts.
I understand that. But the lady at admission office asked me so I just went back to the portal and report it to make sure everything is turned in and hopefully the office is considering my updated reports since they show my improvements.
This is not about SAMS but there’s no other place to post… I uploaded my application last week and the administration said the result might come in the end of the month. They also said they r aiming for 20 ppl for the design program/ and art as well. The acceptance rate for last year was 16%. Just putting it out there

If so, then you should have uploaded them. I apologize as last year, I remember uploading a score report in the initial app, not in the supplements.
@ak2018 yeah I did that yesterday. I called the lady and she said that we were supposed to… do you think they’ll still consider my application? Or is it too late now?
They most likely will as this was simply the verification they needed. @malfoy7
@ak2018 I haven’t taken the SAT yet. I did take the PSAT and I self-reported my score on the app and I sent the score report as a supplement on March 15th. Am I good?

When I applied last month, it did not have a place to report my unofficial scores. But I looked back on the supplement place today, and I see the place to upload the SAT scores. Should I still upload it? Can I still upload it now and have an equal chance of getting admitted?

I tried to e-mail CMU and this is their reply regarding the test score report:
"Thanks for emailing the Office of Undergraduate Admission at Carnegie Mellon University.
Late materials are still able to be considered with your application. You should receive your decision within two weeks of submitting your materials. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
Best regards from the Carnegie Mellon Office of Undergraduate Admission."
Hey folks, I didn’t apply to SAMS (applied to AI) but am i supposed to upload test scores again through the supplement portal? i already uploaded an unofficial report through the actual application so unless it’s necessary i probably won’t upload it again. it also says “unofficial” in the drop down tab so i feel like it’s a bit redundant to do the same thing twice
is it just a SAMS thing?
Ok so what exactly does it mean by a self reported test scores?? Like do you send your school transcript? Or is it something you download from the SAT site?
I emailed them about a week ago asking if they got my LOR and they said they got everything except my SAT scores. I checked the portal and the option wasn’t there. So I emailed them again about how to submit (bc I already self reported) and they were like “take a screenshot and upload to your portal”. So I was confused and I checked the portal right after reading the email and there it was. (and this was on the 15th). It was totally a recent thing.
I was just accepted into SAMS and I’m speechless. I‘m so excited!!!
