@michule07 They are still making decisions so at this point, no decision is better than a rejection. It also means that you should email that new SAT score ASAP. It might just tip the scales in your favor! :
I feel really stressed right now, because I submitted the second part of my application before so many other people did (mid-February), but have received no decision. I just submitted my SAT scores though.
@chunkylegs I submitted my application the endow February and all my supporting documents the first week of March. I was anxious and worried too, but don’t worry.
@ak2018 I found out by directory on Sunday and got the email today. BTW, thanks again! (:
@ak2018 I put in my unweighted GPA on the application, but on my transcript it shows my weighted GPA as well as my unweighted… I’m assuming this is okay?
I just got into the AP/EA program for the summer opportunity and inclusion. As it’s free, would this possibly be helpful when I’m applying to CMU next year? Also, does anyone know the acceptance rate for the programs?
@Elki2401 Congrats!! Although I do not know the specifics, yes, an AP/EA full-tuition acceptance should prove somewhat helpful, if you play your cards right while you are there. The SAMS acceptance rate is around 10%, however the rate for AP/EA program, with a full-cost waiver, is unknown. I would figure that it’s probably very low, since it’s all-expenses-paid.
So I was accepted to the AP/EA program two weeks ago but I thought it was strange that they gave me a response the next day after I submitted my application. Is this common? I emailed the CMU office and asked if I had gotten in through the summer inclusion program and they said yes, which means that Board, tuition, food is all free they said. However, I applied to the program on a whim Becuase I had an essay already written for another Program. I dont know Minch about the Program and would appreaicatw any advice or reviews from those who have gone to it already. Also, what other fees I may need to plan for except
