I’ve iterated this several times, but has anyone gotten into AI? @Smarty I’m assuming you didn’t get a decision to SAMS because either they’re seriously considering you for AI or because they haven’t gotten to the AI applications yet. Hopefully its the former for you as well as me, so that’s why we haven’t been given a decision from our second-choice. Pure speculation on my part, but optimism keeps me going these days

Hi guys, so I got into AP/EA a while ago but didn’t set everything up until today because I just realized the FirstPass email went to spam lol. Does anyone know if the AP/EA deposit is can be waived? I emailed them but I still haven’t gotten a reply. Also, I’ve applied to a couple other programs like MITES which haven’t come out yet, so in the case that I do get the deposit waived, can I still back out of my decision?

Nope, they keep postponing the decision release dates for the AI program. Tbh, I feel like the best thing we can do is to stop worrying and stop bothering the office of admissions (after all, we already turned in all application materials so there’s nothing we can do). My best bet is that results will probably be out by the end of April as ak2018 said.

I recently got accepted into SAMS and I’m so excited. My stats are:
PSAT: 1510
SAT: 1550
GPA UW: 4.28/4.67
GPA W: 5.63/4.67
I’m interested in Computer Science and music and I live in Florida. Does anyone know how to see the full SAMS student directory without having to look up individual people? Also, what material should I study to pass into Concepts of Mathematics? I’m taking AP Calculus AB right now and plan on taking AP Calculus BC and Multivariable/Differential Calculus next year.
Still no word here. I just got my ACT scores back from a recent testing date and I sent them through email to the admissions… Nowhere near as high as all those who have been admitted have, but oh well… I was really thinking SAMS would help UP my ACT/SAT scores and it seemed they would pick people with maybe “lower” high scores to give them a chance to get high scores but it seems like they are picking people with practically perfect scores already! (not meaning that as any offense lol)
Oh well, just really hoping to hear back soon 
@eiude It might, but AP/EA is a different program from SAMS. Also, you can back out of your decision at any time. You an all them and try and see if they work with you.

I believe (for those who applied to AP/EA), they are still considering people. They implied it when I emailed them that I could not accept their offer to attend AP/EA. So there is hope still!
hey guys, i submitted my app at the latest time on March 15th and i called this morning and heard that I was still “under consideration” cause they needed at least another week. Do I still have a chance or is “under consideration” code for “you’re rejected but we don’t wanna tell you over the phone”?

I’m confused…I applied to AI and I just want to make sure that they do NOT want official score reports yet do they? Like I reported my scores in the application but I never uploaded any documents.
