Artificial Intelligence Admission Decision
We’re pleased to inform you that you’ve been admitted to Carnegie Mellon University’s Pre-College Artificial Intelligence Program for the Summer of 2018! The team is excited to welcome you to the university and eager to get to know you this summer. As a member of the Summer 2018 Pre-College class, you’ll join a community of students determined to showcase their talents and ambition. We’re excited for you to join our community this summer and experience all of what Carnegie Mellon has to offer. We’ve carefully designed the program so that you can learn as much as possible while enjoying your time on campus. Throughout our long history, we’ve always sought to surpass expectations and deliver the best quality experience for everyone who attends. We hope you decide to join us this summer.
The attachments to this email provide important information related to preparing for your arrival. To enroll in the program, you’re required to pay a $100 enrollment deposit no later than 10 days after receiving your First Pass email. Payment information and other necessary steps for enrollment are found in the Enrollment Checklist attached to this email. Please keep this email as it contains your Andrew ID and important information for future use.
You must plan to arrive on Saturday, June 30, 2018 before 2:00 p.m. Classes begin Monday, July 2, 2018 and end Friday, July 20, 2018. The Closing Day of the program is Sunday, July 22, 2018. Students must check out of the residence hall by 2:00 p.m. on Closing Day. We look forward to welcoming you to Carnegie Mellon University this summer.
While you’re on campus this summer, you may also want to learn about our undergraduate programs through events offered by the Office of Admission. The summer visit schedule will be live later this spring. Please register for these online, once they’re available, as space is limited.
