Accepted to AI! Received email yesterday and I am in the directory. Does anyone know what this “First Pass” email is and how long after acceptance we will get it?

@smartypants308 I’m not sure. They seem to be sending out decisions sporadically.

@charger19 Congrats! It should come in about a day or two. It’s pretty much an email that lets you set up your CMU account and pay the deposit.

Are all the kids in sams in the same housing unit? Or do we mix with the other kids in the precollege. Programs? Also is the presentation for parents and students on the first day only sams students or is it mixed with the other people?

@radicalking You guys will all be in the same dorm hall with two sides that split the boys and girls. The first day presentation is only for SAMS students.
