Stop hating when u not good enough lol. try to get ur SAT a bit higher dude. International kids worked hard to get in so maybe u should consider working hard too.
Can’t believe some kids got this excited and wrote all this stuff lol. won’t even read it. not worth my time
Do you ever feel disappointed because you get rejected from all the higher tiered schools and end up committing to a school anyone can get into? It’s like, you worked so hard in high school (with testing, grades, EC’s) only to end up going to the same school as the kids that didn’t try at all. I can’t help but feel a little bit sad but in the end, I guess I just wasn’t meant to go to CMU.
Don’t feel down, usually things work out for the best. CMU isn’t the destination it is just one of many ways that you can achieve your goals. Be the best no matter where you go is my recommendation.
If you haven’t seen The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch you should check it out.

lol my sat is prob higher than urs lol so dont even worry about it. Its okay u clearly can’t read Never said international kids didn’t work hard. Maybe try harder so u can pass ur own entrance exam and not have to wait for some tier 2 waitlist school. lol
all data points to 2nd wave at fall this year. If only u understand how bad it is right now in the states. Ur so called faith doesnt prove anything. I don’t hate lol, just feel bad for kids who could have gotten in over someone like u lol. Thats why Cal state and other schools cancel fall already right, “its in september”. If u dont even know how bad the situation is in the states rn then dont talk lol. go cry in ur gucci bag or something lmao.
@dragon5151draw I totally feel you bro. I’m international and only applied to 8 VERY competitive colleges in the US (with no safeties), worked my ass off for SATs and other standardized tests while coping with IB workload, but then got rejected by all 7 colleges except for this one. Now probably ending up going to a normal school in the UK (UCL) just like one of my schoolmates who did not work hard at all. Idk if this makes you feel better man.
At this point, I feel like CMU is full. They’ll probably be notifying us all tomorrow that they’re full. I’m too scared to call to ask about College of Engineering. I’d appreciate it if someone else could though.
I called them on May 8 and they said that there are still 20 spots left for engineering. They also let us know that they expect to admit waitlisted people throughout May, so personally I still have a small level of optimism. Definitely not expecting anything though.
