<p>I was wondering if anyone could tell me a little about the CASC program (California Association of Student Councils). I’m interested in joining, but I’m confused how by the website and the information it provides. I was wondering if someone could give me an overview of the program, how do you get involved, etc…

<p>CASC is a nonprofit student led organization focused on developing student leaders. There are several opportunities to get involved. Unfortunately, interviews for region cabinet just passed but going to summer camp and learning CASC curriculum is extremely helpful. Throughout the year, CASC makes trips to Sacramento to propose bills on education reform to the senate. There are also other conferences where students learn about global issues. Uniquely, CASC is student led and students teach other students how to make a direct plan to solve these global issues specifically as well.
