Case Western 2023 spring class

In general ( I don’t know what Case allows in this situation) If you like Engineering and have to take a Philosophy course, I highly recommend taking Logic as a philosophy course. You will do proofs/truth tables you may have done in math and may use in Digital Electronics.

We should really make this thread more active. Why don’t we go around and say what we are majoring in as well as what we are doing over the fall semester? I am planning on majoring in BME and I plan on conducting some research over the semester!

I meant to say what major we are interested in ( I know some people are undecided)

Hey guys, I thought I’d help keep this chat active. I am planning on majoring in biochemistry (also considering a double major with biochem and physics), and I have an internship at a small pharmaceutical company to keep me busy for the gap semester.

@IHJ780 Have you also considered the Biophysics major?

Before double majoring, look at career options and see if you need an actual double major or will taking some classes in that area be what you need. i am sure talking to an adviser or professors will help.

Sounds exciting!

does anyone know how many people were accepted to and attending in the spring semester?

As a Spring admit for class of 2023, wanting to do classes in Fall 2019.

For Fall 2019, wanted to take classes to transfer in to Case. We spoke with and got advanced written approval (required) from Undergrad Studies Dean to take community college classes to transfer in to CWRU during Fall 2019. (Lesson learned: CWRU wants you to coordinate with UG Dean for community college classes-admissions office really is not informed on this process). Use the Case email account you received to make it easier.

-CWRU will send you a financial aid decision email once during the application process. That helps in the decision process for some families. We were accepted to JohnHopkins as well, but CWRU provided a bit more institutional aid: if that is important to your decision, it is accurate. If cost of tuition was not a factor, then I would’ve had D apply as an Early Decision (ED) so she could get on with planning.

The amount CWRU offers doesn’t change, but it is prorated for the Spring semester.

Is anyone who was deferred from Fall to Spring admission out there? Did you take it? If so, how is it going? What kind of orientation did they have? How was signing up for classes?
